Training Assistance
Walking 60 kilometres in one weekend may sound like a lot, and it is, but our informative event handbook shows you how to put together a training plan that fits into your busy schedule. We also organise Training Walks in your local area where you can get physically prepared for The Weekend and meet other Walkers and Crew Members from your community.
Fundraising Advice This is more than just a simple walk. There is a mighty purpose to The Aviva Weekend to Breakthrough Breast Cancer. To participate, each Walker will raise at least £1,500 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Most have never raised that kind of money before. But we’re here to help every step of the way. We’ve helped thousands of people raise millions of pounds for breast cancer. With our coaches’ advice and support, many end up raising much more than the minimum. Once you start talking to your family and friends about the purpose of your fight against breast cancer, you’ll be surprised by their generosity. You’re doing something that most people have never dared to do — sacrificing one weekend for the purpose of saving lives.
