Will I Be Able to Walk That Far?
About the Event Image 2

Absolutely! You don't have to be an athlete to participate. This event is for all kinds of people: mothers, fathers, grandparents, friends, and everyone living with breast cancer too! All you need is compassion and a commitment to fight breast cancer. It will be a challenge, but that's exactly what makes it so meaningful. Our team of coaches is available to help work out a training plan that fits in with your life and will get you in shape for the walk.

It's not a race, so you can walk at your own pace, meeting the people around you, sharing your stories and making new friends. If for any reason you can't continue, there will be support vehicles along the route to take you to the campsite.

How Do I Train?

Whatever your fitness level, our informative Aviva Weekend to Breakthrough Breast Cancer handbook will help you train for the event gradually. And we have a staff of coaches to answer your questions and help you put together a training plan that works for you. We will also organise Training Walks throughout the area where you can get used to long-distance walking, and meet others who will be on the event with you. Please feel free to call us on or email us at . We understand that people have full time jobs and full time lives; our coaches are happy to help you figure out a training plan that fits your schedule.
